While adopting the European educational system, in accordance with the requirements of the reforms taking place in the educational branch in Georgia,Tbilisi University “Metekhi” is in the unique position of being accredited twice: first in 2005, January 18 “Metekhi” became an accredited university among the 119 accredited universities in Georgia and in 2006, October 14 Tbilisi University “Metekhi” successfully passed the accreditation among 38 universities in Georgia obtaining the status of a fully accredited university during the following five years – until 2012.
