The library of Tbilisi University “Metekhi” has existed since the establishment of the university. It is situated on the first floor of the university building. The library has the book depository and reading hall well serving students and reading authorities. Librarian Marine Ormotsadze is in charge of the library.

The library is an universal unit and represents an important informational and scientific centre. At present the depository counts 5250 bibliographic items including scientific, fictional and study books. The fund preserves books and periodic editions as well. Besides buying, books come from presented and contributed collections.

In order to serve the visitors better there are the following catalogues in the library: alphabetic, systematic, personal, also concerning dictionaries and encyclopedias.

Working Hours: 15:00 – 20:00 except weekends.
